Dr. Rey Martinez has been a practicing dentist for 25 years. He and his staff strive to provide dental care with the highest level of excellence.
He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in biology. Afterwards, he attended te University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio to become a doctor of dental surgery. At that time, his dental school was ranked number one in the nation. Today, it continues to lead in education and research.
Dr. Martinez is different than most dentists. His practice uses high-tech dental technology and is extremely efficient, yet compassionate and friendly. During his career as a dentist, he has completed hundreds of hours in advanced training for cosmetic dentistry, implant placement and restoration, digital dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation and many other aspects of dentistry that are sometimes referred to specialists.

In addition to treating patients, Grayslake dentist Dr. Martinez trains dentists in the use of advanced dental techniques and digital equipment both locally and nationally. He also is a mentor and visiting faculty at Cerec Doctors, a dental education center in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he is a clinical trainer in CAD/CAM (CEREC) dentistry.
